AYURVEDIC TREATMENT FOR STROKE

Stroke is a medical condition, wherein the blood circulation to the brain is interrupted resulting in death of brain cells. This can occur in two circumstances, viz. Ischemic and Hemorrhagic. An ischemic stroke happens due to the lack of blood flow to the brain. On the other hand, bleeding is the cause of Hemorrhagic stroke. A doctor will examine the patient extensively for understanding the exact cause of stroke and provide ayurvedic treatment for Stroke. The treatment method and medications will be based on the confirmation whether it is Ischemic or Hemorrhagic.

Stroke can lead to paralysis of one or more body muscles on one or both the sides of the body. The death of brain cells will adversely affect the communication from the nerve impulses to the affected parts of the body. Thereby, the patient will lose mobility, sensation and feeling at the areas affected. The message disruption may be at the brain or on the pathway. The extent of paralysis and other physical issues will be according to the damage.
